Cosmetic brand’s marketers never sleep I am telling you as a marketer and more and more have partnerships with “thought leaders” and influencers. The Tarte brand was also unable to stand aside, and on April 7 released a very cheerful, bright, and functional palette in collaboration with Canadian YouTube-blogger Adelaine Morin shame on me but I am not familiar with the collaboration’s heroine.

The palette’s packaging is made of thick yellow cardboard, there is also a large mirror inside the palette. Tarte’s Adelaine Morin Eye & Cheek Palette reflects “her passion for makeup, outgoing personality, strong voice for girls supporting girls, and obsessive love for the color yellow.”

The blogger not only gave her name to the palette but also chose colors and gave each shade a name! The palette consists of 11 shades, namely from 9 warm shades of shadows (6 matte and 3 shimmer), blush and highlighter. It’s worth to note, that despite the bright yellow packaging design there are actually only 2 yellow shades, and the rest is a variation of warm brown & red shades.

The nine eye shadow shades include:

  • Adelangel’s (a matte cream named for what Morin’s followers are called)
  • Mama Morin (matte tan)
  • Girls Supporting Girls (matte warm yellow)
  • ConTOUR (matte warm brown)
  • Red Eye Flight (burgundy shimmer)
  • Boss Lady (matte burnt orange)
  • Law of Attraction (yellow shimmer)
  • Beep Bop (matte dark brown)
  • and Beautiful, Magical, Wonderful (copper shimmer)

There are also 2 additional shades such as Promise Ring, an opalescent highlighter, and I Feel Beautiful, a rosy pink blush.

Traditionally, all shades are made with Tarte’s legendary Amazonian clay formula for all day wear & vibrant color. It is worth noting that the brand’s products traditionally do not include any parabens, sulfates, mineral oils, and is of course BINGO! gluten free.
