BIOGRAPHY
The Mexican actor Octavio Ocaña began his career in childhood as an extra in some television programs such as En familia con Chabelo in the Chiquillos y Chiquillas section. In 2005 and at the age of seven, he rose to fame thanks to his role as “Benito Rivers”, a character in the sitcom Vecinos produced by Televisa. Two years later he participated in the youth soap opera Lola, once upon a time (2007) and, in 2008, he had his first and only participation in a film, appearing in the film Amor Letra por Letra alongside Silvia Navarro. Ocaña also starred alongside Julio Bracho and Adrián Uribe in the television series Hermanos y Detectives (2009), an adaptation of the Argentine series of the same title. He paused his acting career in 2010 to dedicate himself to his studies and venture into the world of professional soccer. He returned to television in 2017, during the second period of the successful Vecinos , returning at the end of the fourth season in the episode “The Separation” with his character of Benito, which he played until his death in 2021.
