Sean Mark Bean was born on April 17, 1959 in Handsworth, a suburb of Sheffield. His family had a small business and a fabrication shop. His father, Brian, owned the show and provided for 50 people; his mother also worked for the same store as a secretary. Sean also has a younger sister named Lorraine, so he grew up in a relatively small family.
