BIOGRAPHY
Ingrid Bisu was born on September 15, 1987 in Romania, Bucharest. She attended the prestigious Goethe German College, where she learned to speak German, English, French and Latin. When she entered college, she became interested in acting, so she decided to attend her first audition, where she was chosen to star in an international commercial featuring more than 300 girls. In 2004, she debuted as an actress in the comedy sitcom Casatorie de Proba (2003) playing Flori, a funny and intelligent teenager. At age 16, she landed her first film role in Bloodrayne (2005) where she shared credits with Ben Kingsley. Upon graduating from college, Ingrid continued her streak of good movies, landing roles in films like Periferic (2013), Dracula: The Dark Prince (2013), and The Nun (2018). Bisu will return to the Warren universe playing Jessica in The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021), the third story of the Warren couple. The film depicts Johnson’s real-life case; the first murder defendant in American legal history to plead not guilty by reason of demonic possession.
